In our family, the tradition of catering has been present for four generations. Thus, we at the Inn and Boarding house Lesjak give our best to meet the demands of random guests as well as groups, by relying on experience, tradition and quality. We offer a wide variety of dishes: home-made specialties (farm platter), prepared dishes, a la carte dishes, grilled dishes, fish specialties, vegetarian dishes and various desserts, with the final touch being added by a selection of quality wines from Styrian wine-growers. As part of our catering business, guests can be accomodated at the Boarding House Lesjak, where they can choose from a variety of rooms. Welcome!

At the Boarding House Lesjak, you can spend the night in beautifully furnished single, double and triple rooms. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom.
Being located far from the hustle and bustle of the city, the village of Slivnica has an interesting geographical position for tourists. Its proximity to the city of Maribor, the Slivnica airport and the sports and tourist centre of Pohorje represents a convenient starting point for both tourists and business people.
The Boarding House Lesjak is a three-star accommodation facility.

At Inn and Boarding House Lesjak, we are happy to attend to your wishes. We provide the needed preparations and services for business lunches, wedding festivities and various meetings as well as other celebrations. Our 120-seat restaurant is best suited for larger groups, though we can also provide a room with approximately 30 seats, perfect for smaller events.

A domestic family restaurant with over a century of tradition
At the Inn Lesjak, we strive to preserve the tradition of excellent home-cooking, while trying to create something new and add a special touch to an everyday meal. We mainly use seasonal and local ingredients, which makes the dishes even healthier and tastier.
We prepare several different types of lunches and à la carte dishes on a daily basis. We can also prepare custom menus for announced groups of guests. Our rich culinary offer is complemented by a wide selection of quality bottled and open wines from Styrian wine-growers. Our inn can cater for up to 120 guests, which makes it an ideal place for different celebrations and occasions, such as weddings, anniversaries, business lunches, dinners and other meetings, while also being suitable for closed groups of guests.

Tradition
In 1908, our ancestors began to write the history of the Inn Lesjak. At that time, Mihael Lesjak and his wife Antonija bought the inn with a butcher’s shop and farm from the family Wregg. As it was situated along the main road Vienna-Trieste, the inn was popular with horse and cart drivers and was known to be a place where people could meet, exchange news and amuse themselves, accompanied by great food and drinks. In 1935, Rafael Lesjak and his wife Ana became the owners of the inn, which they ran until 1972, when Jože Lesjak and his wife Marjeta took over. As the building was worn out by then, it had to be torn down, while a new inn was built at the very same spot. Today, the inn is managed by their son Rafko, who continues the family tradition into the fourth generation.
